Upcoming Hindi film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi

Lahore is an upcoming Hindi-language periodaction film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan. Set against the backdrop of the partition of India in , the film stars Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta.[2][3] This film will mark the comeback of Preity Zinta after a 7-year hiatus.

The film's music composed is by A. R. Rahman.

Plot

Lahore is set during the partition of India in and follows the story of a Muslim family that migrates from Lucknow to Lahore.

Upon their arrival, they are allocated a haveli (mansion) that was vacated by a Hindu family fleeing the area due to the partition. The plot thickens when the family discovers an elderly Hindu woman still residing in the haveli. This unexpected encounter leads to rising tensions and complex emotional dynamics as the characters navigate their new reality amidst the backdrop of one of the most tumultuous periods in Indian history.[5]
